Clasing Clinic on the Derby Course

  • 1/4/2019
  • Open: 12/14/2018
  • Close: 12/31/2018

We are pleased to host a cross country clinic on the derby course with Daniel and Kaitlin Clasing. Dan and Kaitlin’s early career highlights include Dan completing the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event in 2013 and 2014 on a horse he broke and brought up the levels himself and Kaitlin working as an assistant trainer for Olympian Phillip Dutton at True Prospect Farm from 2012-2015 while competing through the Advanced level. Since 2015, they have built a successful business in the sport of three day eventing from their base, the beautiful Hermitage Farm in Kennett Square, PA. 2018 saw both Dan and Kaitlin return to the Advanced level on horses they produced through the levels themselves. Both horses finished the year with top twenty placings at Fair Hill Three Star.

GROUP CLINIC - Dan will hold small group sessions over the cross country derby course. These groups will focus on coursework, getting horses confident and in front of the leg while negotiating varying cross country elements. Price includes open schooling on your own afterwards.

PRIVATE LESSON - Kaitlin will hold individual sessions focusing on functional flatwork for cross country success. Ideal for riders or horses experiencing control, rideability or confidence issues, these sessions will help riders gain the foundations of flatwork we all need for cross country success! Price includes open schooling on your own afterwards..

For both sessions riders should come tacked to jump and prepared to take back homework for the rest of the off season and a successful 2019.

AUDITING is free!
