Eric Horgan has over 30 years of world-class competitive and training experience, including multiple European, World Championship and Olympic events. He is a former Olympian that offers instruction and coaching in eventing, dressage and show jumping, officiates at international competitions, and consults in management and course design for three-day events, horse trials and other equestrian competitions.
A highly popular instructor, he works with riders of all levels to develop their skills and refine their communication with their horses to improve performance. With a special affinity for young riders, Eric coached the Irish Junior Show Jumping Team to a European Championship silver medal, and a Pony Team to the European Team gold medal.
Eric also serves on the Instructors' Certification Committee of the United States Eventing Association. This select committee comprised of professional instructors, coaches and active event riders has begun an important effort to develop standards for certification of instructors of eventing in the U.S.

Stabling is available first come first serve for an additional fee. Semi-private lessons (75 mins) at $125 per horse, Group Lessons (90 mins) and Private lessons (45 mins) select few available. Discounts and scheduling preference given to those who book multiple days. Lunch will be provided all three days. We will be hosting a pot luck dinner saturday night Dec 1st at the farm with Eric and everyone is invited to join us.
Participation in each clinic is NOT GUARANTEED until payment is received in full and form is completed. Payments can be made out and mailed to MELANIE HARPER 2109 JOHN MCMILLAN RD HOPE MILLS, NC 28348. Checks must be received within 2 days to hold a spot. There will be no refunds unless your spot is filled from the waitlist or someone is able to fill the vacancy. Cancellation for soundness must be accompanied by official letter from the vet and only allowed up until 2 weeks before the start of clinic. If a rider is put on the waitlist, and a spot is not found a full refund will be given.

Ride Time: Ride times will be posted one week prior on facebook event page as well as emailed to each rider.
Trailer Direction: North Bound Directions to North Star Stables
* Take I-95 North into North Carolina.
* Take Exit 33. At the top of the ramp turn left onto 301 North.
* Go 5.6 miles. A landmark, you will see a sign for Hwy 71. Go straight past
this and we are the next intersection you will see the sign for NSE Stables and
North Star Veterinary Hospital with a big arrow pointing to the left.
* Turn left onto Canady Road.
* The barn is about 0.3 miles on the right hand side. Turn in the fourth
driveway between the 2 story house and the barn.South Bound Directions to North Star Stables
* Take exit 41 to Parkton. At top of ramp turn right. You will pass a BP gas
station on the right.
* Go to 2nd trafc light, turn right and follow signs for 301 South towards
Lumberton.
* Stay in Right lane at the split, take the exit, a straight ahead exit, with the
sign that says Parkton, Red Springs,301 South.
* Go 2.2 miles, at the 2nd intersection you will see a sign for
NSE Stables with a big arrow pointing right.
* Turn Right onto Canady Road.
The address is 342 Canady Road.
* The barn is about 0.3 miles on the right hand side. Turn in
the fourth driveway between the 2 story house and the barn
