Steuart Pittman Clinic
Steuart Pittman is an Advanced level event rider and trainer certified by the US Eventing Association to teach through Preliminary level. He has trained with some of the best event riders in the country and especially enjoys teaching dressage and lower level eventing. Steuart is one of the nations leading advocates of the off-track thoroughbred. He is a founding member and the current president of the Retired Racehorse Project. Make this a weekend event, and stay for Second Chance Thoroughbred's Thoroughbred Jubilee Benefit Horse show!
There are several classes and awards sponsored by the Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program, and classes for all levels of horses and riders.
It is race car weekend in Watkins Glen, so hotels are in scarce supply. There is plenty of camping available (close to the horse stalls) for $30/night.
Organizer Notes
Non-refundable deposit after June 1st. Vet and farrier on-call. Large fairgrounds with plenty of parking and also camping (30/night). Stalls are $45 for the entire weekend. Stay for our Thoroughbred Jubilee Benefit Horse Show.
