Waredaca offers the CHECKERBOARD CHALLENGE SERIES in 2019!
SATURDAY APRIL 20, JUNE 8 AND NOVEMBER 9
Enter online to do a full schooling horse trial, a combined test, or just dressage-you decide!

HORSE TRIAL DIVISION & COMBINED Tests DESCRIPTIONS:

Elementary- for the beginning horse trials enthusiast or beginning horse.
D: 2015 USDF Intro Level Test C; XC: 6-10 fences approximately 18"-24" untimed; SJ: 18"-24"

Beginner Novice- introduction to eventing for horse and riders with some experience
D: 2018 USEF Beginner Novice Test A; XC: 9-12 fence, 2’3” to 2’7” untimed; SJ: 2’3” to 2’7”

Novice- for riders and horses with some experience at this level
D: 2018 USEF Novice Test A; XC: 10-14 fences 2’9”-2’11” untimed; SJ: 2’9”-2’11”

Novice/Training- for horses and riders who are experienced at Novice and wish an introductory experience at the Training Level
D: 2018 USEF Training Test A; XC: Same as Novice; SJ: 3’0”-3’3”

Training - for riders and horses with some experience at this level
D: 2018 USEF Training Test A; XC: 12-16 Fences, 2'11"-3'3"; SJ: 3'-3'3"

Training/Preliminary - for horses and riders who are experienced at Training and wish an introductory experience at the Preliminary Level D: 2014 USEF Preliminary Test A; XC: Same as Training; SJ: 3’3”-3’6”

For Dressage Tests: Please write any current USEF Eventing Test or USDF dressage test(s) of your choice in your Note to Organizer
If you would like to select a different level for 2nd test, specify in your note to organizer.

CHECKERBOARD CHALLENGE INFORMATION

The Checkerboard Challenge Series allows everyone to be a winner by simply starting the event! START the event and get 100 HORSE BUCKS COMPLETE then event and get 200 HORSE BUCKS PLACE AT THE EVENT AND EARN:
First place----1000 HORSE BUCKS
2nd place--- 500 HORSE BUCKS
3rd place----400 HORSE BUCKS
4th place ----300 HORSE BUCKS
5th place----200 HORSE BUCKS
6th place---100 HORSE BUCKS

Riders will accumulate PURINA Horse bucks for the duration of the Checkerboard Challenge Series. The evening of November 3, 2018 all riders will have the opportunity to redeem their Horse Bucks during a live auction featuring a Horse VIP trip for 2 to the Purina Animal Nutrition Center in St Louis, Missouri. Other Prizes for bid will be saddle pads, coolers, outdoor living items, Yeti cooler, and other horse related items. A Bucks General Store will also be on site where you can purchase stable accessories with your Horse Bucks as well. Food and drink will be served.

TRAINER/COACH BONUS: IF you are a coach or trainer and have 4 students entered by the start of each competition, you get your entry free! Your FREE ENTRY (non transferable) can be for the current or a future starter 2019 Starter event! Just send Secretary Sarah the names of your students and we take it from there!

Checkerboard Challenge Schooling Days are open to those entered in the following day Starter event and
are scheduled before each of the three Challenge Starters. Certain fences on each of the xc courses will be
open for practice schooling. 4 fences on the Jumping course will also be open for practice; heights to be
adjusted by each riders ground person. Schooling will be offered from 3 PM until 7 each Friday before the
Challenge competition. Approved headgear, medical armband, vest and grounds person is required.
Parking will be in the corner parking field, check in at office to register, show coggins, pay $50, receive a
pinney number and then proceed.
