Join Olympian Phyllis Dawson for a XC Clinic at Windchase! With a friendly atmosphere, these casual midweek clinics are suitable for the nervous rider on a green horse or competitive professional looking to move up.
For weekday clinics please specify morning or late afternoon in your Note to Organizer...Windchase will work to accommodate schedule requests.
Windchase's XC Schooling course features an outstanding variety of XC jumps on excellent terrain. Riders can explore everything from inviting logs suitable for basic XC introduction for green horses to more challenging options such as picture frames, tables, corners, banks, water & ditches.

Groups are available from Elementary to Intermediate. There will be 3 to 5 riders in each group. Each session will be 1 hour 45 minutes long. Price is $65 for boarders & $80 for trailerins. Audits are welcome & free.
Phyllis Dawson is a veteran USET Member, accomplished 3-Day Event rider and USEA ICP IV instructor. She has a wealth of experience training riders & horses through the Advanced level. Among other notable courses, she competed at the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event over twenty times. Among other notable accomplishments, Phyllis finished 10th- the highest placed American rider- at the Seoul Olympic Games Three-day Event. She routinely holds jumping clinics, Pony Club clinics, ICP clinics and USEA educational seminars at Windchase, her Boarding and Eventing Stable near Purcellville, VA. Price is $65 for boarders and $80 for trailer-ins. Cancellations less than 2 days prior to clinic will be charged $25 late cancellation fee. Make checks payable to "Windchase" and leave in Tackroom box.

Ride Time: Ride Times will be emailed before clinic. If you have schedule requests please note on entry form.
Trailer Direction: From Leesburg, VA: Take Route 7 West for about 2 miles. At the top of a long hill, exit to the right on Route 9 towards Hillsboro (at bottom of exit ramp turn right). Follow Route 9 for about 8 miles until you come to the town of Hillsboro. Continue on through Hillsboro, and go approximately 2 more miles. Turn right on Route 671, the Harpers Ferry Road (there is a traffic light here). Go 1.3 miles, then turn left on Kidwell Road (Route 787); this is a gravel road. Take the fourth driveway on the right; there is a rock which has the name Windchase on it. Approximate driving time: 25 minutes.
