USEA Area IV Young Riders, in conjunction with Mission Valley Pony Club, offers a schooling and competitive opportunity for area eventers the weekend of October 12th/13th at Longview Horse Park in Grandview, MO.

Longview Horse Park is open for XC Schooling on Saturday, October 12th. Times TBA. $50/horse

Compete in a dressage and CROSS COUNTRY combined test on Sunday October 13th. $75.00

Want to school Saturday & Show Sunday? Super! Just choose the XC Schooling Add-On for $40.00.

Non-competitors can school XC on Saturday at a rate of $50 per horse/rider payable in advance or at the gate.

Levels Offered:
Preliminary: 2018 USEF Prelim Dressage A , Jumps not to exceed 3'7"
P - ~2900 m @ 520 mpm, confidence building course for horses prepared for the level. Terrain questions test balance.

Training: 2018 USEF Training Test B. Jumps not to exceed 3'3"
T ~ 2500 m @ 450 mpm, solid course for level; forward galloping track with use of terrain to balance and educate.

Novice: 2018 USEF Novice Test B. Jumps not to exceed 2'11"
N-2200 m @ 400 mpm; inviting track for horses with some experience at the level.

Beginner Novice: 2018 USEF BN Test B. Jumps not to exceed 2'7"
BN- 2000 m @ 350 mpm; inviting track for horses with some experience at the level.

Starter: Intro B. Jumps not to exceed 2'3"
Starter Division 1300 m @ 275 mpm with 10-11 inviting obstacles (max height 2'3")

Straight Dressage tests and eventing dressage tests (for those that want to do dressage only) will also be offered:
USDF Intro A,B, and C
USDF Training Level 1,2, and 3
First Level 1,2, and 3

Proceeds from the XC Schooling and Combined Test will benefit the Area IV Young Riders Program. The Area IV Young Rider Program is open to members of the United States Eventing Association age twenty-one and younger at all levels of riding. The purpose of the program is to encourage our younger members to become involved in the sport of Eventing and continue this involvement into their adult lives. Our organization seeks to promote a love of the sport, as well as an appreciation and understanding of the horse while fostering the wonderful relationship that can develop between horse and rider. Further, involvement in this program helps to instill important moral values, such as responsibility and work ethic, as young riders grow into mature adults. Costumes are encouraged with special awards presented to the best costumes. Costumes permitted in both phases.

A dog jump competition will also be offered.
