EZ-GO Stable is pleased to offer a fun and unique showing experience in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere!
Eventing Derbies will be held throughout 2017 with everything form Poles to Training Level.
2017 Eventing Derby Dates: June 25, Aug 13, and Oct 22. Enter via Event Clinics to save $$!
This Derby Eventing course will be set up using a mixture of Cross Country and Stadium Jumps in and around the ring, jumping out of the ring will be part of your course. Scoring will be the same as Stadium Course Round converting penalties to seconds.
We will have levels from Poles and AVAGO all the way up to Training. If you wish to ride Poles or AVAGO, please choose the Intro level on registration form and specify what you want in the Note to Organizer.
Pay in advance: Price is $20 for the first round and $15 for an additional round. (Please select the Extra XC box in registration form for a 2nd round)
Pay the day of: Price is $20 per round.
POLES: Ground Poles- Open to Children 8 and under jumper no higher than AVAGO (leadlines allowed)
AVAGO: 12’-18” Open to adults and children jumping to higher than Elementary
STARTER (INTRODUCTORY): Not to exceed 2’ Open to all Adult and Children jumping no higher than BN
ELEMENTARY: Not to exceed 2’3” Open to all riders who have not jumped lower than AVAGO in this show
BEGINNER NOVICE: Not to exceed 2’7” Open to all riders who have not jumped lower than Starter in this show
NOVICE: Not to exceed 2’7” Open to all riders who have not jumped lower than Elementary in this show
TRAINING: Not to exceed 3’3” Open to all riders who have not jumped lower than Elementary in this show

SCORING:
This will be an optimum time course. Time faults for too fast and for too slow.
Pinned in order closest to the optimum time with least faults. Optimum time will be based on standard eventing speeds for each level.
Penalties are incurred for knock-downs, refusals, and for exceeding the optimum time or being too fast for the optimum time window.
