Want to learn from with a great Irish Eventer? Well if so, Elizabeth ‘Esib’ Power is coming to teach us in Feb 2019 how to be better competitors. She rides at Advanced and is currently competing.

This is just some of her bio:

Esib’s equestrian pedigree is as full of quality and history as the thoroughbred ex-racehorses
she has competed at four-star and championship level in eventing. Her father, Capt Con Power,
was one of Ireland’s most famous showjumpers, and her National Hunt jockey brother Robert
has won both the Grand National and the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Here are her accomplishments:
- Placed Badminton CCI4*
- Placed Burghley CCI4*
- Placed 5* 1m60 Hickstead Derby
- 2nd Bramham CCI***
- 2nd Ballindenisk CCI***

How many riders have been placed at Badminton, Burghley AND the Hickstead Derby? She may not be the only one, but Elizabeth ‘Esib’ Power is certainly the first of her generation to do so!

Esib Power achieved her best top-level result to date at Burghley last September, finishing ninth with the best and fastest cross-country round of the day on Soladoun, an ex-racehorse she bought out of training as a four-year-old and whom she has carefully produced through the grades.

She says: “I love teaching – I’ve been to lots of trainers myself and I know the difference between understanding something and not understanding it.

The key is to make things clear and as simple as possible, and not to complicate matters. I am very conscious of that, and I find helping people to get the best out of themselves and their horses very rewarding.”

She’s a rider's rider. Come clinic with her!
