"21.4.10 Bravo Equestrian ...
This mounted + unmounted clinic, led by Karen Rae Bone will focus on improving your contact in the saddle. Karen is a big believer in hands-on learning and developing FEEL.
Karen is the owner/trainer/mentor at Bravo!Equestrian in Woodbine Maryland. She has a broad equestrian background including CI*eventing, A-rated hunter shows, and galloping and rehabilitating race horses. She has been a teacher, trainer, vaulting coach and judge in Europe, as well as an equine vet tech here in the US. In addition she holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics, and has been a research scientist and an adjunct professor of biology. She is a former National Examiner for the USPC and has an Instructor’s degree from Fox Hollow Equestrian Center, where she majored in retraining difficult horses.
Clinic structure will have AM group of 6 riders will have 45min unmounted demo/exercises period followed by 1 hr mounted instruction (15 min break between to bridle and mount)
PM will have 4-6 slots for private lessons.

Trailer Direction: Take Lisbon exit off of I-70 (22 mi. from either Frederick or Baltimore 695). Turn S onto Rt 94 (Woodbine road), go through Lisbon roundabout, then 1.5 mi to AE Mullinix Rd on L. TL. Proceed 2 mi to Sunset Hill on R. Driveway is shared with "To Win Again" Farm. Take R side of driveway to top of hill (past stop sign). TL with road, go 150 yds to lg yellow barn on top of hill ('Upper Barn').Trailer parking on R side. If full, follow signs to parking in XC field. AM Clinic begins in Upper Barn lounge. Riding will be in upper sand arena if good weather. If Inclement weather, riding will be in indoor arena.
