Can Non Members Register For Activities Announced on the Site?

Absolutely! Anyone can access your activity’s registration form, make selections & upload required documents (or- hint- a cell phone photo of a signed liability release), and go through the registration/payment process.

What Are the Benefits of Membership for Riders?

Members have their profile information (or a selected Alternative Rider) auto-populate the registration form, which makes the checkout process significantly faster. Members can store documents such as liability releases and Coggins and have the document automatically attached to their registration form.

Members are also able to make changes or cancellations online! (There are limits to what you can do – we want our favorite organizers to remain sane.)

How Do Riders Change or Cancel a Registration?

Sometimes, when you make plans for an outing, your horse has a different plan. If, for any reason, you’d like to change or cancel your existing reservation through the Strider platform, we offer that feature.

STRIDER™ Members can change rider or audit registrations online, subject to any applicable change fees. Simply log into your account to review your registration and begin the change process.

Members are allowed one electronic change per registration. This change can be to the Horse OR the Rider OR the level/division. If you’d like to change more than one section, we recommend you contact the organizer. Adjustments to their planned activities can be extremely disruptive.

The STRIDER™  system currently does not support online change requests for guest users. If you registered for an activity as a guest user, you may send your request and any applicable change fees directly to the Organizer. Please include the e-mail address used while making the registration. The organizer maintains an electronic record of registrations made through STRIDER and can manually change your registration under most circumstances.

Basic Venue/Organizer Membership: FREE
Basic Membership enables you to move off time-consuming paper entries quickly and offer digital entries for all date-based activities. With our StriderPay service, you can collect entries and payment -in full, with nothing deducted from proceeds for all activities you post.

 The rider/attendee is charged a modest 5% convenience fee over the entry price you set to cover credit card processing and our data costs.   

Example: If you’re charging $100 per horse show entry, the rider will pay $105.00 at checkout to complete entry.  This protects you from credit card fees and ensures the full amount you specify is deposited in your account. 

Rider Membership: FREE

Riders can enter activities either as STRIDER members or using our guest checkout service.   

We’ve partnered with the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) to ensure you have the fastest access to all opportunities.   As a certified USEF Level 1 Show Entry Provider, STRIDER lets you auto-pull USHJA, USDF, and USEA member info along with SafeSport date for the most complete entries possible.

 

As a STRIDER member, you’ll enjoy full control over every part of your entry, with the ability to change or cancel online.  Best of all, earn StriderReward points for every entry you make with STRIDER! It’s a fast way to benefit from our curated list of retail partners and services. 

Premier Venue/Organizer Membership: $650/annually
Premier Membership allows you to accept digital payment for equestrian services and products that are NOT date-based. We offer an e-shop service outside of our flagship bookings platform that supports both subscriptions and coupons.  This is great for automatic revenue collection for horse syndicate shares, trainer lesson packs, physical products, etc. It’s a great way to collect recurring board payments each month!

STRIDER users can accept digital entries, payments, and documents for any equestrian opportunity across breeds and disciplines. Thanks to our uniquely flexible technology, STRIDER accommodates entries for recognized and schooling shows in jumping, dressage, eventing, reining, and more.

 

Organizers can build their own activity with our Custom Form Builder or choose from popular pre-made event templates. You control your activity descriptions, selections, classes, tests, prices, etc. Make changes anytime.

 

During the past year, we’ve seen members post opportunities for rated and unrated horse shows in every discipline, polo matches, schooling events, Olympic Rider Masterclasses, webinars, professional development series, clinics, unmounted workshops, Happy Hours with top riders, hunter paces, trade fair tickets, conferences, Pony Club rallies, Fix-A-Tests… you get the point!

Once a rider completes an entry, both the organizer and rider receive a STRIDER confirmation email with a summary as well as links to any attached documents.

When logged in to your Member Account, the Organizer’s Corner provides an overview of registrations to date. It also has downloadable spreadsheets that are automatically updated as new entries come through.

StriderPay is our proprietary payment processing service that enables you to quickly & securely collect credit card payments from riders without incurring any merchant fees. At the time each activity is posted, organizers specify what PayPal account they want to use to receive funds for the activity. We handle the rest. STRIDER will not ask for access to any banking or checking account information.

We store data for 5 years, consistent with the rules of major insurance providers and international equestrian organizations. Organizers can access past entries and activities via their Organizer’s Corner. To learn more about what type of data we store, please see our platform Privacy Terms.
