Evergreen is proud to welcome back Kate Chadderton to share her wisdom and vast knowledge of horses whether they are hunters, jumpers, eventers, dressage horses, or youngsters still trying to figure out what they want to do as a career. Kate works great with all levels of riders and horses and works to instill confidence in both as a team. She moves at you and your horse's pace and uses a variety of exercises to help you to achieve your goals. She's also not afraid to change things up if your horse isn't having his best of days or if you are a little nervous. You're sure to leave you're clinic time with Kate with a smile on your face, some new tricks to use in your daily practices, and a confident outlook on what you and your horse have planned next. So come and join us for a day of learning and fun at Evergreen Stables in Fulton, MD on July 31st, starting at 9 AM with the last session running at 5 PM. For more information please contact Tiffany Andrews at 443-534-6921. If you are traveling from out of town or your horse needs schooling the day before and we have a stall available we will offer overnight stabling at $25 a night, you bring your own hay and grain.

Kate's Bio:
Kate is an international 3 day event competitor hailing from Australia. As well as eventing she has competed Prix St George dressage and Grand Prix showjumping. As you can tell it's a busy barn! From mid January to the end of November Kate, her horses and her students compete in all levels of recognised competition up and down the East Coast of America and Canada. Kate was almost born in the saddle, having grown up on a cattle farm in Queensland, Australia. Her mother, Dorne, instilled in her a passion for horses from an early age by encouraging anything and everything to do with them. As her family was limited financially, Kate's entrepreneurial streak would see her take young, green ponies and then train them for resale. She was also an avid member of the Australian Pony Club Association and benefited greatly from the opportunities within the organisation. Most of Kate's early years were spent in one of three ways; campdrafting and stock work, jumping or (and most often!) galloping around the bush bareback. She soon discovered however, that it it was a long walk home should she fall off and developed quite impressive stickability! The 1992 Barcelona Olympics left an indelible impression on the then 10 year old, horse mad, little girl. After watching Matt Ryan clinch the gold medal, she knew what she wanted to do when she grew up. At the age of 18, she moved to New South Wales to work for Boyd Martin; who was just beginning his career. In her time with him Kate was given invaluable and irreplaceable skills. During this time she was also based at the farm of Heath and Rozzie Ryan, who remain mentors to this day.
In 2008, on the advice of Boyd, Kate relocated to the United States of America to continue pursuing competition at the elite levels of eventing. She continues to train with Boyd, as well as riding with gold medallist Phillip Dutton. The business has continued to grow thanks to the gratefully received support from her wonderful owners and supporters.
