Windchase Winter Jump Clinics are the perfect way to tune up through the cold winter months! All clinics are designed to be inviting and user-friendly.

We will keep things very basic and inviting for the greener groups, and will incorporate some more creative elements for the higher groups as appropriate. Exercises and fence heights can be adjusted within a group for each horse as needed.

There will be groups ranging from a very green elementary group for those of you wanting to stick to small jumps, up to at least Preliminary.

Windchase Winter Jumping Clinics dates will be :

Sunday January 8 – with Cindy Anderson-Blank – Gymnastics and lines

Sunday January 15 – with Phyllis – Bending lines and coursework

Sunday January 22 – with Phyllis – Adjustability and stride length exercises

Sunday January 29 – with Phyllis – Turning questions

Sunday February 5 – with Phyllis – Accuracy questions

Sunday February 12 – with Phyllis – Show Jumping coursework

*SATURDAY* February 19 – with Phyllis - Gymnastics and Grids with a XC twist

Sunday February 26 – with Phyllis - Corners and angles

March dates – to be announced later

Please make any changes or cancellations no later than the Thursday before the clinic. Cancellations later than 48 hours before the clinic may incur a $25 cancellation fee (not applicable if inclement weather makes the roads bad).

The cost for the 2017 indoor clinics will be $60 for Windchase Boarders and $75 for all others.

There will be 3 to 5 riders in each group. If oversubscribed, preference will be given to regular Windchase students and clinic participants. If you know someone who would like to participate, email Phyllis to be added to the mailing list.

Clinics will generally run from approximately 11:00 (occasionally 10:00) to about 5:00 in the afternoon, depending on how many people sign up.
